Kutum, Rutilus frisii kutum wild broodstocks (970 ± 90 g) were subjected to captivity during their upstream migration and their physiological responses to the stressful condition was assessed. No changes in cortisol levels by was observed after captivity (p > 0.05). An increase in glucose levels (1.8 fold) was observed after captivity (p 0.05).
