Interval extensions of the Halley method and its modified method for finding enclosures of roots of nonlinear equations

Abstract

In this paper, interval extensions of the Halley method and its modified method for finding enclosures of roots of nonlinear equations are produced. Error analysis and convergence will be discussed. Also, these methods are compared together with the interval Newton method.
