MicroRNAs (miRNAs), are a type of small non-coding RNAs, that induce mRNA degradation or repress translation by binding to the 3′-untranslated region (UTR) of its target mRNA. Some specific miRNAs, e.g. miR-93, have been discovered to be involved in pathological procedures by targeting some oncogenes or tumor suppressors in glioma. In the present study, real-time RT-PCR data was indicated the expression pattern and prognostic value of miR-93 in patients with types of Glioma.MiR-93 expression was significantly decreased in tumor tissue compared with normal group brain tissues (P.Suggesting that decreased expression of miR-93can be used as a novel prognostic factor for this disease.
