Abstract

Introduction: The city of sardasht, located in north western part of Iran was the ‎target of a chemical invasion in 1988.Many studies have shown the veteran’s ‎adverse condition of physical and medical health which can affect the quality of ‎their lives .So far, few studies have been devoted to the Iranian chemical ‎veteran’s quality of life .This research was studying the chemical veteran’s ‎quality of life 15 years after exposure mustard gas.Methods: In a cross-sectional observation 163 chemical veterans of sardasht ‎were randomly selected among all the veterans of sardasht .their quality of life ‎were studied via Wisconsin’s quality of life questionnaire. demographic and the ‎infection datas of the veterans were listed in order to analyse statistically, tables ‎of frequency and relative frequency were used .For analytical understanding of ‎the datas several tests such as k square test were used.
