Abstract

Introduction: The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between body dysmorphic concern Psychological disorders and among university students.Methods: 263 university students were selected through simple sampling. SCL- 90- R and Body Image concern Inventory were used to collect data. Reliability coefficient of SCL- 90-R was 0.88 and Body Image concern Inventory was 0.95.Result: The results of this research showed that there are significant positive correlation between Psychological disorders and body dysmorphic concern.Discussion: The results of multiple regression showed that among all sample interpersonal sensitivity was best predictor variable and among female sample interpersonal sensitivity and obsessive- compulsive behavior were best predictor variables.
