Traditional medicine commonly uses extracts or medications made from plants to treat a wide range of diseases, illnesses, or disorders. The evergreen, aromatic, and medicinal plant Thunbergiafragrans is a well-known medicinal herb that has been used for generations in traditional medicine throughout the Mediterranean region. The methanol extract had the highest percentage of secondary metabolites, which were then found in chloroform, ethyl acetate, and hexane, in that order. The methanol extract showed the largest zone of inhibition, which was followed by ethyl acetate, chloroform, and hexane. When compared to stem, leaf showed the highest zone of inhibition. All the four extracts, both leaf and stem showed more inhibition in Gram-negative bacteria than in Gram-positive ones. The study is significant because it aims to provide the contents of the medicinal herbs under study and to offer a scientific database line, which is especially useful for local practitioners and the public, who use these plants to treat a range of physical diseases.
