A Study of Internet and Cell Phone Effects on the Youth (15-29 Years of Old)and Identity Change in Mazandaran

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to search on the effect of internet and cell <br />phones on youth (15-29 years old) and identity change in Mazandaran<br />Province. The method of study with attention to subject, purpose, questions<br />and hypothesizes is survey. The Population of this study is all youth in 1529<br />years<br />old in<br />Mazandaran<br />Province.<br />The<br />sampling<br />is<br />based<br />on<br />Cohen<br />and others<br />(2001)<br />standard<br />table<br />and<br />the<br />sample<br />is chosen<br />from<br />384<br />among<br />the youth.<br />The<br />method<br />of<br />sampling<br />is<br />mixture(cluster<br />and<br />random<br />sampling). This<br />study<br />uses<br />these<br />ways<br />for<br />data<br />gathering;<br />the documentary<br />method<br />and questionnaire<br />method. In this research data are gathered and entered into computer and then<br />processed with the SPSS program. There are two statistical tests in this<br />regard; descriptive and inferential statistics. In inferential statistics median<br />was used to test the hypothesis.
